Play in your browser¶

Start Survival to explore a naturally generated world with the same terrain, biomes, caves and structures as the native game. Each new world uses a fresh random seed. This single-player preview runs the real Rust simulation and terminal pixel-art renderer locally using WebAssembly.

Choose Lantern Run in the world selector for the hand-built combat and building challenge. The two modes keep separate saves, including existing Lantern Run progress. To generate another natural world, expand Your adventure, your save and click New survival world; export your current world first if you want to keep it.

Open the game in its own tab for more room, or play below. Click Fullscreen to expand the game; Esc returns to this page. A desktop keyboard and mouse are recommended.

Progress saves in this browser. Use Export save inside the game to keep a backup; clearing site data removes local saves. Browser saves are separate from native saves. This browser preview is single-player; download the native game for multiplayer and the full terminal experience.

Controls¶

A/D: move; double-tap a direction to sprint. Space/W: jump, swim or climb. Left click: mine or attack. Right click/F: use or place. E: inventory and crafting. 1–9: hotbar. V/Shift+V: drop one item/a stack. −/+ changes zoom; F4 cycles views. Escape/Q: close a menu or pause.

The game pauses when you switch tabs. If another Termcraft tab already owns the browser save, close it before opening that adventure here.
